At the Salvation Army Centre of Hope we depend on volunteers. We have a variety of volunteer opportunities in areas such as street outreach, emergency disaster relief and in our food bank. We wouldn’t be able to provide services to the homeless at no cost without people like you! Make a difference in the lives of people struggling with homelessness in Windsor Essex County.

Assisting in our fundraising, and community events
Soap With Hope
Providing clients with towels, soap and persona care items for our free shower program
Kitchen Help
Serving and preparing meals for our clients and our Thursday community meal program
Street Outreach Support & EDS
Providing emotional support to first responders and those effected by a disaster
Street Outreach & EDS Driver
Driving our Street Outreach van to various locations in Windsor Essex County to support those affected by homelessness and/or disaster
Street Outreach & EDS Cook
Heating and preparing meals for our street outreach program and emergency disaster relief
