Dennis came to our shelter two months ago. He was unsafe in the apartment he lived at for 15 years.
At the beginning of the housing search, we decided to find private marketplace housing. We assisted him with all of the paperwork that must be submitted to the city. We then referred him to The Pathway of Hope program so that our outreach team assist with items such as paying rent, wellness check, job and/ or volunteer search for the upcoming 6-12 months.
Last week we assisted Dennis with his move and sent him off with a loaded care package of food, linens, some kitchen appliances. Congrats and good luck with your new place Dennis!!
